1992 Capitol 990 Wheel Trenchers

Caterpillar 3406 Engine, 32″ Width, Completely rebuilt in 2001 ($640,000) Machine completely redesigned, updated, 41 feet per minute, 9 feet deep, Original 960 Capitol upgaded and revised in 2001 to a 990 that included revising the wheel drive system to the Vermeer hydrostatic pump & motor. Currently has buckets installed for a 32″ wide cut and will cut to a 9 foot depth.. Machine weight=185,000 lbs., width=11’1″, height=15’6″, length=43′, track length=16′. Engine is CAT 3406 turbo.
