1949
Company Founded
Joseph (Joe) Greenberg founded Worldwide Machinery in an effort to offer rural heavy equipment following the construction boom post World War II. Joe, being a thrifty innovator of the 50’s, purchased and sold his own equipment to avoid unnecessary brokerage fees earning him a solid reputation and legacy that continues to this day.

Global Expansion
Joe’s son Alan Greenberg taking the driver’s seat and growing the company to a global scale from 1967 – 1991.

Worldwide Pipeline Division Created
Alan passes the torch to his sons Evan and Adam Greenberg who expanded the company to become one oft he top Pipeline Equipment providers in the world.

1997
Worldwide Rental Services Created
Worldwide Rental Services was created by Worldwide Machinery Company in 1997 to serve contractors in the Rocky Mountain West. For many years, Worldwide Machinery had been working heavily in the cross country pipeline business both domestically and internationally, and decided that the markets in the West were underserved for heavy civil, highway and utility contractors.

We’re headquartered in Houston, Texas, and have a dozen locations in the United States, as well as international locations in Monterrey, Mexico; Dortmund, Germany; Sydney, Australia; Lima, Perú; and Parma, Italy. We also have direct representation in Russia, India and China, giving Worldwide Machinery a solid global presence.
